Introduction
Using a baby monitor (smart camera) fixed above the crib, the system analyzes infant sleep video in real time to detect sleep posture (supine, side, prone) and whether the mouth/nose area is occluded by a blanket, pillow, plush toy or other object. When prone position or mouth/nose occlusion is detected, the system outputs a risk level (medium / high) and immediately pushes alerts to the parents' mobile app to help prevent SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and suffocation accidents. Application scenarios: infant bedrooms, neonatal monitoring rooms, daycare institutions. The system monitors 24/7; once prone sleeping or mouth/nose occlusion is detected, it triggers a loud alarm and notifies parents via mobile.
